Norman has said that the three main influences on his work are Homer, Freud and Nietzsche.

Today I visited the Village of Gimli, it's an amazing sim of beauty, very huge, with a panther sim next to it, even pirates... everything!
and it's built with so much detail... it's a beautiful, very good landscaping

The people are very attentive and educated in the sim, I have had all facility and aid to put to enter and to make my photos, and in addition....... I have had at the end the opportunity to make a small role play with the enormous pirate and Master of Slaves of Gimli! ^^
it was fantastic, very amused and unforgettable.. imagine a green chaste lady without escort...oh oh who does not want to catch it?

GREEN SHIMS ...

Today I want to talk to you about the new BOM system, Bakes On Mesh.
It is a great advance, first because it reduces the memory of textures and the cost of rendering, with which, we will have less/lower lag and it will be much easier to change our avatar of clothes, skins etc... now you can think like the layers of an onion, you can go dressing layer by layer .. theoretically without the need for more appliers huds, once activated the BOM.
For this reason, now you can search your inventory for your old skins, tattoos, clothes ... and try them again, many will suit you, some will not; among other things, it depends on whether they are modifiable or not.
Even so, the creators are already doing work for the BOM system. But, it's very nice to see if certain old things that we liked a lot and we couldn't use them with the mesh system, now work or not.

The first time we want to use the BOM system, it can be a strange experience

First and foremost, you have to have the update of the head and body of your avatar

In this blog I am using the head of Lelutka, Simone 3.4 updated for BOM and the body V4.1 of Maitreya, but with the new HUD for BOM, which they have only sent transferable, by the group of Maitreya itself

There are already more creators who have updated heads and bodies

Well, once this step is achieved, we go to the next one, the viewer for secondlife, this has to be updated for BOM, otherwise, you will see your body and head, fragmented, the head in red fragments and the body in yellow fragments, this It is because with the BOM system, we don't need alphas to hide the classic body and head.

At the moment the ones updated for BOM are the official viewer of SL, Kokua and Black Dragon. FireStorm has an alternative in the group of them they give you the link, but surely they are about to launch the new update already or very soon, most viewer creators will soon update.

I personally had to use the SL one  but I can't take pictures there, so I installed Kokua and it was great.

For this blog I used Lissia, the skin already Bom from RITUAL, the new name of Lumae

As always, this wonderful creator includes in her package the complete skin, for head and body of different creators: LAQ (Omega), Genus, Lelutka, Catwa and Maitreya, Belleza, SLINK, Tonic, Omega, V-TECH, AMD Bump

For Lissia it also includes a pair of elf ears. In addition to the applicators, it also includes the classic system and the BOM system. All this in its various varieties of eyebrows, chest and freckles

Well, once we have seen all the content, our avatar and body without alphas in a BOM viewer, we add [R] BoM Layers HUD / Elspeth - Lissia / WEAR
this opens a window where we can click the head and for the body we use; the head gives us: [R] LeLutka Head BoM Layers, because I am using lelutka
and the body will give us: [R] Maitreya & V-Tech Body Layer Delivery HUD [Wear Me], because I am using Maitreya

now you will see that in the 2 new folders there are classic body skins and tattoos, we see the old icons again, this is what we are going to use now, that simple.
Choose the skin / tattoo you want for body and head, click ... and voila!

I have: [R] Maitreya BoM Base / Lissia / Reg Cleavage
and for the head: [R] Elspeth LeLutka / Lissia / No Brow

Look at the eyes well, you may need to put the alpha that comes in the folder, I have not used it.

If the viewer is adapted for BOM, it does not give any problem, otherwise you will look like in the photo above in the middle of the blog, that is made in Singularity and is not yet adapted.

For me it has been a great experience to search a lot, to ask, fortunately also to meet this incredible creator and search with her for several hours, thank you very much RITUAL!

In the end it is achieved and from there everything is very simple
I love the result of photography in Kokua
I can really move much better in SL with this BOM system
